[s-cars] Fed up with IR system !

I'm not sure if this was addressed in this thread, but my solution on my 90q
turbo and Jeep Cherokee rock crawler (both with factory keyless remotes) has
been to take them to a reputable stereo joint and have them install an
aftgermarket alarm system with keyless remote lock/unlock. On the Audi, I
had them no install the alarm portion of the system, just the lock/unlock
feature. With the RF signal from the tiny remote, i can open my car from
1/8th of a mile away line of site. Cost was about $99 plus $45 to install.
