[s-cars] "Bad Bulb" light

Hi all,
I recently replaced a burnt out left turn signal bulb.  Now that all my 
bulbs are working fine, my "bulb out" light comes on when making a left 
turn and stays on. Interestingly enough, the "bulb out" light did not 
come on when the turn signal bulb was bad.
Additionally - I have been using the supreme power HID kit (not 
relayed).  Prior to the bad turn signal bulb, the  "bulb out" light 
would not come on with the head lights.  Now it does.
Weird
Should I try disconnecting the battery?  Any other reset method?  I 
don't have a Vag Com.
