[s-cars] Electrical cut-out

I bought my 91 200q20vt last November. The car was not used, but garaged, for 
a couple years prior to the previous owners purchase and subsequent repair of 
several issues arising from it's idle time. At present it has 92k miles and 
has developed a load related electrical cut-out. Initially, the cut-out 
manifested itself as the radio turning off and on. Yesterday, it reared it's ugly 
head when the cooling fan came on and when the ABS was activated stopping in some 
snow. Generally the cut-out is momentary, turning everything off/on in a 
split second, but once it did stall the engine [which fired up immediately]. 
Related to this, the engine will, occasionally, run "rough", feeling like it's 
missing and wants to die. The voltmeter reads above 12v during these events 
[except the engine stall incident]. 

I'd appreciate any help you folks can provide!
