[s-cars] Tire diameter vs. wheel diameter question

Check on your tire manufacturer's website - they usually list min and max
rim widths for each of their tire sizes. Most snow tires I've looked at list
7.5 inches as the max width for the 205/55/16 size. I mounted mine on Audi
steel 16x7" rims.

Anyone know if a 205/55/16 tire will fit on a 16x7.5 wheel? Stock for that
wheel is 215/55, so I am only thinking about going 10mm thinner for snow
tires.
