IMHO, one of the most important things to address is getting rid of
the antiroll bar as a locating member.  using the antiroll bar as a
locating member means it has to be stiff (which means you may have to
use a bigger antiroll bar than you want), and you get a lot of
caster and wheelbase change as the suspension compresses.  not really
good for making the car handle well.

if you do something like this, keep in mind that the biggest loads
will come from braking (especially trailbraking).  i'd probably be
looking at using an A-arm instead of two separate heim-jointed links
for the lower control arm.  might even be able to get circle track parts,
which are relatively cheap because they're made in large volume.  circle
track racers go through a lot of suspension parts.
