[s-cars] short shifting to save first?

The VMAP has support for this in the future. The option board proto has been 
in my car for 6 months. I just can't find the time to finish a PCB and have 
them manufactured and get the price low enough to make it attractive. Looking at 
alternative ways to keep the cost as low as possible to the end user.
