Hehe, remember how formal Usenet used to be?
with the whole RFC and all that to create new
newsgroups? I too look at old posts and wonder
what the hell I was thinking but I WAS in
university at the time...

BTW, when did 'google' become a verb?

I am glad to say that in 22 years of BBS, UUCP, newsgroup, mailing lists, 
etc I can go back to ANY post and not worry about mom, dad, sis, boss, etc 
being unhappy. It is obvious that I was young and (innocent, naive, 
idealistic, etc) on some of the early posts, but there is no shame in that.
And yes, I do google myself (or equiv) at least once a year.
