[s-cars] Oil Pan Needed - 95.5 S6

Well, it may be an option for some, but not for me Ned. By comparison to
many on this list, I am not deeply entrenched in automotive/welding fields
and as such do not personally know of an outfit in my area to whom I would
entrust this task. As I understand it, it takes a certain degree of
skill/knowledge to weld aluminum but that is not based on any knowledge I
possess, but rather on the opinions of others I spoke with during my 3 hour
telephone search yesterday.

On top of that, the used oil pan I found is for $120 delivered. Anywho...

Regards,

Mark

Well, appears welding is not an option. Anybody have one or have a line
on
one. Tried all that I know of from The Parts Connection to Shokan and
everybody in between to no avail. For obviou$$$ reasons I am shying
away
from the dealer.

Regards,

Mark
