Except it would provide the benifit of added heat protection, a lot more robust...and yes, the bling effect does come into play ;-)

What would the benefit be for a Samco MAF to Turbo hose?  There is no
boost pressure, there may be a slight negative pressure sometimes. The
only thing I can see is a benefit is a "bling" effect.  Not that I am
against that.  I sprayed my new BOSCH fuel filter "Chrome" yesterday
before I installed it because it came raw, unpainted, metal.  Maybe I
should spray my MAF to Turbo hose chrome too?  ;>)

By the way, the FPR sure doesn't want to leave its cozy little home on
the fuel rail without a lot of persuasion.
