[s-cars] toluene ?

Hi, 
 In search of this cutout out low rpm problem I would like to add toluene to 
my gas to get the octane in the 96-98 range. I just went to Sherwin-Williams 
and bought two gallons of it but want to make sure this is the right stuff. It 
is just a generic lable with Shirwin Williams name on it and all the harmfull 
side affects but has no contents section. Is toluene all the same? Is it 
leaded? Do I need to worry about anything using this product? Thanks,
