[s-cars] Rust perforation on hood

Have any of you guys suffered any rust pushing thru on the edge of the hood? I have some perforation going on on the passenger side adge, about 12" in length.

Fortunately, my car is only 8 years old and the nice Audi dealer will be replacing it next week under the 10 year perforation warranty. Didn't take too much persuading either. Anyway, it's in to the shop next week to get it replaced. 

One question. How long does the dimple in the hood take to appear if the front suspension is not replaced correctly? Had my car back a week now and looks OK - after about 250kms.
