I put the pink stuff in 2-1/2 years ago when I did the timing belt, water
pump, thermostat, etc.  So far no problems, and what's in the expansion tank
looks pretty clean for its age.  One thing I'll say about the pink coolant
is that if you've go a leak, you're going to know it because it leaves a
really nasty stain when it dries.  I have no personal experience with the
blue coolant.

You don't have to go to the stealer to get it.  Many snobby foreign car
parts stores carry it, as does www.sjmautotechnik.com. Blaufergnugen, and
other mail-order places.
