The only thing is, you gotta turn at one point or another...Anybody can
drive fast in a straight line.

The Grand National didn't come in anything but black. However, you could
get

a regular Buick T -Type with the Grand National performance goodies on
it in

other colors. As for beating one in a drag race............Forget it.
Especially this one:

First: JEEEEEEEEEEEEEZZZZZZZUUUUUUSSSSS!!! That thing is nutty (not to
mention smoky). I was giggling pretty darn loudly here in the orifice
as
soon as I spied them twin T's popping up through the hood. Love it...

Second: I'm relatively positive the Grand National could also be had in
a
dark-ish silver / gray. My neighbor's bud had one, don't think it was a
badge engineered T-Type. Was when they were new, had the full interior,
everything. Including that wonderful 85mph speedo...

Third: there was an old Pontiac station wagon, wood paneling, etc. @ NE
Drags 2 years ago... ran low 12s with a GN motor. Quite funny to
watch...

-Paul also dig the Darth Vader GN's K.
