Did your buddy's car look like the gray one on this page?

The smoke coming from that car was actually the rear tires slipping on the
dyno. The interior is way worse than I remembered it being. I talked a friend
into buying a GN (quickest american production car at the time) when we were
both young and stupid. We had a lot of fun in that car. I remember one night a
hopped up '68 Camaro drove by us and my friend reved up the 6 banger GN. The
Camaro driver yelled "peice of shit" so we chased him down and asked him if he
wanted to run. (We used to have a 1/4 mile marked off on some back roads) We
beat him badly and when he asked the inevitable "what's in that thing?" we told
him it was a stock 6cyl. He looked like he wanted to cry. :-) That car was a
blast.
Chad Many good memories of the GN T.
