[s-cars] Buick Grand National comparo

Not in my opinion.  To me, long warranties indicate that the
manufacturer is standing behind their product.  That's why I would never
buy a crappy American made car with its 3yr/36k mile warranty.  I feel
that their always touting quality...well put your money where your mouth
is and give me at the very least what I got from Audi and Porsche.

Just as an aside, long warranties typically translate into crappy cars
(i.e. 7yr/70k mi. warranties on a fancy new Kia and 10yr/100k mi. on the
exotic Diahatsu) :-)

I complain about everything.

The M3's had a bad run at first, but they also extended the engine
warranty on ALL E46 M3's to 100k, no questions asked.  Last I checked,
Audi didn't do anything remotely resembling that.
