Jerry:  Re: Leaving the original stud in place and cutting it.  -  Good
try.  Old studs will bite you too.  One of our club members decided not
to replace all his studs on his RS2 EM install.  He was doing the final
tightening of the nuts, the stud closest to the firewall snapped (inside
the EM).  (I wasn't there but I don't think he said "Darn" - but he
might of, he's a real nice guy).  So damned if you do (remove and
replace the studs) and damned if you don't.
