[s-cars] O2 Sensor Reading from VAG-COM

Brian, not sure about VAG-COM, but the VAG 1552 does allow O2 readings.
You use channel 08, measuring value blocks, display group 01, item 3.
Bentley says it should be between 0.96 and 1.04, "greater than 1.04
indicates a lean condition and to compensate enriches the control
system"
I checked mine while the car was stationary and it was within spec, but
have yet to try it under load.
A wide band O2 sensor will give you more accurate readings and I believe
someone posted a link (Hap?) that uses a Bosch sensor that plugs in the
OE port and still give the correct readings to the ECU while outputing
A/F ratios.
