[s-cars] How wide is a 95.5 S6 Avant, really?

The specs say that it's 71.0 inches, but is that door-to-door
or mirror-to-mirror?
The new 04 Avant and Allroad are 76.2 inches mirror-to-mirror,
are they really a hulking 5 inches wider than the S6?
