Tim,

There are very few people who have attempted to charge their own AC.  When you factor in the difficulty, danger, and questionable final product, it just isn't worth the trouble.

I'm finally getting around to recharging my AC on a 93 S4 with 150K
miles.  Knowing that there is no low pressure recharge port, most advice
was simply to go to somebody that can recharge it from the high pressure
port as per Bentley recommendations.

However, has anybody soldered in a low pressure port?  Where did you
install it?  Were the results good?
