I like to call this turbo chiff. It is indeed what you describe. Even though 
I run a BPV, I get a healthy amount of this as I shift my car. My snorkel cone 
bucket RAIS(Ram Air Intake System) that Mike Pederson found for our 928 S4 
PBMAF(Pederhousen Big MAF) accentuates this chiff gloriously. I have had the 
Ricer crowd applaud my car as I've shifted under boost.
