Thanks for the advice gentlemen. Guess I'll have to be REAL careful on

crossover tube. Never knew the clamps could actually form aluminum in a
round tubular shape. I always thought round tubes could take just about 
anything. Now I know.

Caution, those clamps are very strong. I have over torqued them and they
will collapse alluminum tubing and they have also given me a nice even
ring of depression all the way around an alluminum tube. I use a little
3" 3/8 ratchet that I use to finger tighten only.

I tightened mine until the springs were about half compressed. If you
compress the springs completely you lose the constant torque effect.
 
If you have the plastic cross-over tube you may want to back it up with
steel exhaust tubing inside or be careful with the torque to keep from
collapsing the tube. My UrS4 steel cross-over tube takes all the torque
I
can apply with the clamps :o)
