Dave,

I agree 100%.  I do have a large volume of the air, so I pressurize the whole system with no more than about 15 lbs. pressure.  I do it this for two reasons: not only is it easier, but it can help find other leaks like crank breather hoses (BTDT on my 200 20v).  
Chris, I'd have a look at that leaky hose behind the valve cover.  Obviously, the main thing is not to overpressurize.

  Here's the deal....  When you simply put a fitting in the turbo intake line and pressurize it, you're actually pressurizing a whole bunch of things that don't require pressure.  This isn't a problem, provided you have an adequate supply of air to compensate for the losses.  I use a 60 gallon compressor.  Needless to say, I can regulate the pressure down to about 10 psi (very safe for all things involved) and it would take quite some time to empty the tank.
