By all means keep the potential for sparks away from the gasoline fumes
when testing this voltage at the pump theory.

The theory is that:

 higher voltage = higher motor speed = higher pump speed = more flow and
more pressure

Anyone want to chime in with a prediction for the actual improvement in
either flow rate or pressure that could result from increasing the voltage
at the pump from around 12 to around 13.7?
