[s-cars] info on a Audi 6-speed gearbox code: EDU needed

S gurus,

I am looking at this audi transmision, code EDU 2001, it is this failed
ebay auction:

If I read the tranny page right it has the following gear ratios:
3.50   1.89   1.32   1.03   0.81   0.68     DSY EDU  

Sounds like this is a good option for my car, is there any mods
required or is it a bolt in replacement? I am hearing a noise in first
gear and want to be ready not surprised.... :-) fun fun.

Also does anybody know this guy, it appears as this was his first
attempt at an auction.
