One of the guys at the PDX Mihnea tuning session had the simpliest &
cheapest solution to this frankenliner.
He simply took a sharp knife & cut 4-5 slits. in the front of the plastic
liner
Then took a hot air blower & warmed the material up.
Then used some pliers to twist the hot plastic into 4 45 degree vents.
I've been thinking about doing it on both left & right liners to aid airflow
through intercooler & oil cooler.
PS, its apparently a good idea to clean out your intercooler once in a
while. Think about all the oil that gets blown through the turbo inlet. Its
bound to get caught up in the pipes somewhere!
