Mihnea informed me that the ECU he gave me had had water damage at some
point in its life (which explains why the board looks so ugly).  The
wire basically is a patch around the trace from the input protection
diode to the connector pin since the trace on the motherboard became
fubar due to the water damage..

Works fine for me (knock on zebrano)
