I can't believe you were offended by my question?   I just asked... why do
you do want to do that?
And to answer your question... yes, I think it makes the car look cheap.
It doesn't matter how much money it costs you... it just makes the car look
cheap -- Like an 83 Camaro with cool splash guards and a windshield visor
that reads " T U R B O", even though they don't make camaro turbos.

do what you want man.   but don't thrash me for a harmless opinion.
