Bill:  You should have received an email with a color pdf of one of the EC Hoppen S6 articles.  I have another one I want to send you but I won't send it until I know you received the first one.

Regarding Motor Trend, I never ever (okay once) buy it.  I don't like it.  It is just that I want that April 92 issue because it has an article about the "new' (then) Audi S4.  

Regarding the Alliance.  They did a 2 door 2L version that was actually quite good (fast, handling, etc) for its day.  I competed in autocrosses in 1988 against them.  Cornered very flat (right off the showroom floor) and even had enough rear stiffness to provide some neutral handling if not some oversteer (which for a front wheel drive was pretty good).  It was better than the stock A2 Golf GTi of the day (which I had).
