I'm all for paying stupid amounts of money for crap that makes my car
faster, but if all it does is sit there and be shiny and rebuildable I'll
pass.

Seems like you could buy another 710n for the cost of the rebuild kit for
the fancy one.

You are talking of the Bosch 710N BPV.  Works fine but I prefer the
"fancy" rebuildable valves from Hyperboost/Strat, Forge, and Bailey.
Guess Dahlback is making one too.
