I dunno, my S6 is totally stock, except 17" Borbet T's and
I do know how to drive (fairly successful in SCCA Solo2
competition, though not in the S-car, not it's job), and I
don't find the S6's handling (for what it is) anywhere near
dangerous nor unpredictable. FWIW, I can attack entrance
ramps with aplomb and the car is unflappable, stable, and
predictable at fairly ridiculous speeds (i.e., I often must
slow, which is again, stable with a little dab of countersteer
and throttle at the top of the ramp or I'll totally over-run
traffic on the highway I'm entering). My reason for seeking
springs is mostly b/c the ride height is a little to "allroad"
looking for me, and I wouldn't mind things being a little
more responsive. I just don't wish to stiffen the ride too
much. Now, the sad part is the beater Subie Legacy Wagon
I'm using (need for home renovations) can match and at
some points exceed the S-car up the same ramp, except
exit speeds. And that's on cheapo all-season BFG Traction
T/A's. Perhaps I should go look for a pony car to take on....
