Your boost problem is likely one of two things. Either the boost sensor
hose has popped off the moisture trap or you have a boost leak in one of
the three boost hoses. The moisture trap on the S6 is near the ECU in
the passenger footwell.

Carefully check the boost hoses for tears, the cross-over tube to
intercooler (aka Michelin man) hose is prone to cracks and splits from
age. Sometimes, the tear is so small that it only opens up under boost.
