[s-cars] Starter Problem

Dear Listeners:  I believe the Starter on my 95 S6 has gone bad.  When I
turn the key to the start position, I can hear the solenoid click once
and that is it.  The battery checks good and the lights all work.  Is
there anything else to check be before I replace the Starter.  And if it
is the Starter, is there BTDTs that I should be aware of when changing
it?  Thanks in advance for any information.
