Marc Swanson diverted his funds from his 4ktq to his new Avant:
<<<I've been toying with the idea of buying an UrS for almost 2 years.
Those
that read my post after driving Paul K.'s nicely modified S4 know that I
became _much_ more serious about finding one after just a few minutes of
driving time in his car.>>>
I have an S4? A 1995 S4??? Damn, now I'm confused 8-). Thanks though, glad
you enjoyed it. Marc went on to inquire:
<<<The only other thing I want to do with the car is a chipped ECU. Hope
that Mihnea session is still on for SFest 2004! >>>
OK, the real reason for my post...
There are apparently a number of US listers here that have expressed an
interest in having Mihnea Cotet fly over from Belgium in a few weeks to do
some 'live' custom chip tuning. For us northeasterners, I had told Mihnea I
could bunk him for a night or so and host a tuning session @ my place in CT.
I can not however be responsible for getting the 'yous' of the world to
commit to him on this. So, the question is being raised... if Mihnea were
to be doing his custom tuning in CT some Sat. coming up (think BBQ, beers,
etc. as well), WOULD YOU HAVE YOUR CAR TUNED???
So far I know it's me (obviously), Marc S., Ray T., and a local friend of
mine. Any other takers to make the trip worth his while? If there aren't
more I'd say he likely won't bother coming up this way and will instead pimp
all his tinkering services to those mid-west and far-western Mafiosos of
Bilotti, et al, etc. We can't have that now can we??? 8-)
We would be thinking an all day all night BBQ party thing, any of the Sat.
7/17, 7/24, or 7/31's are potentials at this point (Mihnea still working on
his itinerary for his travels). *NOTE* this is SEPARATE from 2004 NE
//SFest.... which is Sat. 8/28, in GRANBY CT (not my house), evite will
follow this week hopefully.
Anyway, please let me know ASAP if you're interested. Mihnea and I are
trying to nail this down. Thanks.
