Marc hit the nail on the head:
<<<<<<<<<<c'mon S-heads, step up! All of you can't already be running
chips, can
you? If your car is already chipped, now's time time to slide all the
way down that $lippery $lope!>>>

Mememememememeemem!!!!
Remember guys, with custom programming you can mix and match lots of
different components and come out with a smooth running system.. No need
to go all rs2 on everything in order to run properly on off the shelf
chipsets.>>>>>>>
I think you summed it up pretty well Marc.
And I see this subject managed to sift it's way through the Clancy-isms on
the list which is good, was worried some of the important stuff would be
lost in "mass deletions"... a couple of you have already emailed me direct
on this. Great to see, damn, for the past week I've been trying to
determine how I got sub'ed to Audidoodieworld. Ugh...
Best bet is to email me direct with a "cc" to Mihnea with any specific
questions. So far most want to know what's involved, how much, etc. As
he's told me, it's live tuning that measures a number of variables on the
car and the chips are dialed in to tailor-suit the car's exact needs.
Should be a couple hours per car, and I think he said ~ $4-500 or so. He
can either reburn your existing chips or do new ones, but he prefers to do
the latter as the, say, MTM 1+ chips use an ABY timing chip (I think that's
what he said) that is not ideal.
Again, this is good even if you ALREADY HAVE CHIPS... I for one am eagerly
hoping to scrap my 1+ chips for an awesome opportunity such as this. C'mon,
chime in, help make this HAPPEN. Hate to see this go unrealized.
