[s-cars] Serpentine Tensioner Bearing failure

I have no personal experience with that happening, so I asked the ol man
(my pops who's been managing a German auto repair shop for the last 35
years).  He claims that in all his years of working on Audi's that he's
never seen a serpentine belt (drive belt) tensioner go bad.  Ever.
