The Cdn DRLs are the same, Bob - they turn off when the ignition is turned
off. Only the parking lights stay on with the ignition off and the headlight
switch on.

Don't they all?  That's been a VW/Audi feature for at least 30 years.  Or do
you mean parking lights, which stay on even after ignition is off?  Do the
Cdn DRLs do something different?
