Greg,
As an instructor for a bunch of different clubs, I can tell you I'm already
nervous reading your post.
You'll suffer with an "instructor" if you have to, driving on a racetrack
with 30 other cars at speeds well in excess of 100 MPH?? Yikes! Do you have
any track driving experience?
If not, I would suggest that the braking/slalom/skidpad exercises are good
training for car control that you'll need when you explore limits on the
track. If you have tons of experience, then I apologize and you probably do
not need those practice sessions.
But it sounds like you want to go to the moon, but don't want to be bothered
with all that boring physics/aeronautics/math stuff you need to know to
become an astronaut.

their event would suite me? I am looking for track laps. I am not interested
in avoidance training, skid pad, shifting lessons or cone avoidance
exercises. I want laps! And If I have to have a passenger " instructor", so
be it.
