While we are tearing my motor apart and placing a new heart in it (I
spun #5 rod bearing month ago, it's getting a new-to-me set of rods
and crank with fresh bearings) I'm going to have the head rebuilt. I
can get a 7A ex. cam from a buddy of mine for about $100, so it is
tempting to replace the stock ex. cam with the 7A's. But from the
latest consensus, it may not be worth it? I remember Bruce M telling
me a while back he saw a minimal drop in boost threshold, and a
maximum drop in fuel economy

Anyone want to chime in on this matter?
