[s-cars] To quiet lifters, what is old remedy? Teaspoon of ATF ?

A teaspoon?!  Fill it up with ATF, let it run till its hot, then drain
it out and replace with Mobile 1.  Otherwise add a quart of ATF when it
gets a quart low (you shouldn't have to wait too long with these
engines).

Hi. I was looking on information to quiet lifters and saw your question
above.  What is ATF ??

 

I just had my engine replaced and this new engine has 35K miles on it.
The
lifters are a little noisy.

 

Any advice??
