Rolf;
Most of these cars won't align to the factory specs with the stock
suspension, let alone with a lowered suspension. To get close to the camber
spec you will have to do the Igor Kessel mod to the top strut plate or
install 2Bennett or ECS camber plates.

Subject: [s-cars] Lowering the S4 and alignment
First, i'm sorry for asking questions when this has obviously been discussed
at length. I have difficulty keeping up with all the email i get in one
day.Anyway, I'm about to lower my 94 S4 and would like the final word from
the great S-list. I installed nice 17" wheels and of course now the car
looks 'dorky' with lots of wheel well space. All i want is a simple kit that
lowers the car slightly w/o getting into anything trick.Eibach has been rec.
in the past and I'll go with that. I also have a good line on either
Bilstien or Koni shocks, any rec. for either? LASTLY, i missed allot of the
alignment issues/emails over the past week. I don't track this car so i'm
not worried about performance, just tire longevity. The big question is with
a simple lowering kit, will i have to jump through hoops to align the car
back tp or very close to factory specs? Sorry again for the redundancy.
