Hard to say...  Every stock EM I've removed has been on a chipped car, each 
with 100k plus miles, except for one.  One out of five cracked doesn't seem too 
bad to me.  Certainly compared to the 10v manifolds.

Interesting how the stock manifold works compared to the RS2, however.  If 
you run a car with a stock EM really hard (at night), stop and open the hood, 
you will see the manifold glowing around # 4 and 5 cylinders.  If you do the 
same with an RS2 EM equipped car, you will see the glow much more evenly 
distributed over the entire manifold.

However, I can't offer any real conclusions...
