[s-cars] headlights acting funny

My headlights are not turning on when I flip the switch, it takes a couple tries, but the running lights work no problem.  headlights completly stopped working last october, I had the headlight stalk replaced, and now this.  any ideas? should there be a warrenty on new parts, its only been 8 months.  thanks
