[s-cars] headlight problems

Forrest;
The headlight switch is notoriously weak on Audis, including the UrS cars.
If you install bulbs that draw more power than OEM, you'll eventually burn
out the switch. The solution is to relay the headlights. The headlight
switch powers the relay coils (very low power draw) and the relay powers the
headlights. I fed my relays power from the alternator post; some listers
have used the battery jumper post.
You can buy pre-made wiring harnesses and relays that plug & play in your
car to relay the headlights - they are often sold where Euro headlights are
sold. I think Blau may sell the relay harness - I'm sure other listers can
tell you where to buy them. If you know a bit about electricity & wiring,
you can build your own - that's what I did.
