[s-cars] headlight problems

I really dislike the headlight stalk.  I'm contemplating rigging a
switch like the ones offered by http://www.pgperformance.com/main.htm.  

If anyone knows of someone who's made this type of conversion please
share your experience (i.e. where'd you stick it in the dash).

headlights do not always work, have to flip switch multiple times for
them to come on, parking/tail lights work fine.  headlights completly
stopped working 8 months ago, replaced headlight stalk, they worked fine
till now.

why am I burning out my headlight switch again, I have Piaa super white
bulbs in high/low.

has anyone had this problem before.

has anyone connected seperate relays for the headlights, could you tell
me how?

I see this happens alot on the A4s, but finding little info in the UR-S
community
