Right, the neu S4 uses a chain (stronger than a similarly sized belt) for
packaging reasons. I was referring to the Audi "multitronic" continuously
variable transmission (CVT), when I said, "Note the chains on the Audi CVT.
Belts won't take the torque". Audi created a chain to replace the typical
belt in their CVT and got around the traditional torque limitation of
