Gabriel,
First thanks for all the input!
Well first I am having a talk with the owner of the parts store that
gave me the wrong stuff. They also do service there and I want to see
what they have to say. If they don't do anything (I am expecting that)
what I am considering is purchasing all the parts...but starting with a
flush first. And then if I need to, start replacing parts that seem to
be bad.
The mechanic said he discovered the booster was bad when he tried to
blead the system and the pressure was showing up in the power steering.
I belive he was stating that the accumulaor and master cylinder would
be bad because of the wrong fluid, is there a way to test it?
My question is, how can I test the components? Other than replace one
at a time? Do I have to remove the master cylinder to get to the brake
booster? Could someone point me towards an FAQ or write up?
Thanks again
Chris
PS the fluid has been in there ~3 weeks...I am not holding out much
hope that this will be inexpensive.
