Sounds like the same thing but its 65 out today and so heat soak is not an
issue. I have tried different fuel, all 93 octane so I don't think thats causing
it. Chips are written for 26psi and unless I have 100octane it rarely gets
above 26psi (on 100 octane it builds to 28 to 32 psi with no issues. Carbon on
internals might be an issue. If I drive normal for days at a time and then do a
2nd gear WOT to redline I get a pretty good amount of black smoke but after
doing it a couple times it goes away. So, where are the knock sensors? I guess
I'll replace them and go from there. Thanks for the help.
