Yes, I believe that's right. I'm running 322mm rotors, so this, combined
with the narrower wheel, allow me to slide by with the spacer. Just love
the look of those AVUS wheels...

Jim spacers work, except for those running, for example, 330mm rotors. There
are a few other brake kits out there, some of which run afoul of, or
otherwise violate the inside diameter on 16" rims, for which a spacer is of
no help.
The original UrS4 wheels I'm thinking of came as 16"x8" Probably too wide,
or at least wider than optimal if the primary goal is 195 or 205 section 16"
snow tires. If I thinking of the right wheels, your 16" AVUS are 7.5"
correct?
