When I had my car in at Autosport Werks, one of the little things they did 
was weld up a new test pipe for me( for off road and track use only). I was 
unhappy with the drone at intermediate rpms and had an 18" Borla silencer added on 
to the original one. There was no drone but the leading edge to mounting 
flange welding, I had a regular welding shop do it, was really bad. There was slag 
and overlap and it just did not meet my standards. So on this visit I had 
Brooks, ASW's resident welder weld me up a new one without a silencer to use at 
the track. Funny thing is the car is quieter now without the silencer and there 
is no drone. My 150-200 rpm drop in boost threshold also can lay part of its 
claim to this improvement.
