It is a KW block.  Stamped KW 000 085 on the side.
Block PN is 035 103 021M
Head PN is 034 103 373K
are those matching Sport Quattro PNs?

Finally,
Does anyone know a source for Engine management programming suitable for a 
8:1 CR and 2.1 liters?
